2014 Tiguan Firmware per the guide is not found.....

I'm about to install remote start in my 2014 VW Tiguan push start but the guide lists a firmware version of 75.38 but the Flashlink Manager only lists 3 options for fimrware updates for my evo-all, 4.20 Beta, 0.99 Beta, and 0.90 Beta.  Which of these three should I install to make sure there are no firmware related issues since none are similar to the firmware version listed in the installation guide (Guide 62501) documentation? Thanks!!!!

Sounds great thank you! Now i just have to finish creating and installing the missing ground cable connection and i should be able to get this remote starter installed. Hopefully!
75.XX firmware installed, no issues.  Now I have another problem.  When I go to start the module programming in the vehicle, the lights on the module never start to flash as per the instructions.  I have checked all fuses inside and underhood and none are burned out.  I don't see anywhere where the THAR-VW1 harness has a fuse in it either.

I did notice that my steering wheel plug that connects to the harness only has like 6 or 7 wires populated and the corresponding pin on the THAR-VW1 harness where the black ground wire is, is empty on my factory plug.  I added a separate ground connection but even then I get no lights on the module.  Is there a fuse inside the Evo-All that I need to check for?  Thanks!!
Make sure you are plugged into the connector behind the sterring column control module, not infront.

Looking at the wire to wire installation guide (page 4) looks like pin 2, red/yellow at the ignition connector should have 12v, can you test it and let me know if it is indeed 12v?

Also what is the vin number to the vehicle please?

Thanks!

You are correct sir.

I was plugging in the T-Harness to the plug on the front, closer to the steering wheel because the install video I watched on Youtube, that's where the dude plugged it in and it fit the plug.  I just plugged it in to the plug further back toward the dash, held the programming button and sure enough, the lights started flashing on the unit.  Yes. I am an idjit.  My bad.  It is now working.  3x Lock and it fires right up.  3x again and it shuts off.

Last question, I think, LOL.  If I take the module out and change some of the options such as the heated seats and such or the amount of time that it runs, do I need to do the programming sequence again and the dcryptor or is just a matter of changing the options and plugging it back in like I did after the dcryptor finished?  Thanks again for all your help.

Pic included. Blue circle plug is what I had used first, green circle plug is the correct plug.  They are physically the same so the T-Harness will plug in either but the correct one is the one closer to the dash.

Glad you got it going!! You arent the first person to plug it in there! lol

You can change options on the evo without needing to re program/dcryptor each time, just ensure you click the save options button and not the flash button.

Just to note, heated seats are not a supported feature on this vehicle, supported features are found on page 1 of the installation guide. https://fortin.ca/download/62501/EVO-ALL_IG_TSA_BI_VOL1-TIGUAN_2014_PTS_TB_B_62501.pdf
