Highlander

Two months ago, I installed an Evo-ALL module in a 2019 Highlander. The programming process proved difficult—the system only worked on the third attempt. The new module didn't work, so I used an old one instead.

The client called to say that the Fortin device has stopped working.

Is it possible that the vehicle has a factory-installed remote start system that is causing interference? Where should I look for it?

Hello,

Yes oem starter will cause issues. Top of page 4 says it must be completly disconnected prior to programming evo.

On the highlander it should be located behind the glove box upper right hand side.

This vehicle is not equipped with a remote start system. Even the fuse socket for the remote start unit was empty, with no electrical contacts present. The module flashed red after the doors were closed. 001A07213969. I replaced the module, and everything returned to normal.

Please, reset the decriptor for the evo-all, that I removed from the vehicle
I have sent it in to be reset.

Glad to hear you got it sortred out.

Best regards
