Hello,

Modules with a manufacutre date older than 5 years cannot be reset or re configured. This module dating from 2016 falls into that category. If you wish to flash a module please use one that was manufactured within the last 5 years.

Two months ago, I installed an Evo-ALL module in a 2019 Highlander. The programming process proved difficult—the system only worked on the third attempt. The new module didn't work, so I used an old one instead.

The client called to say that the Fortin device has stopped working.

Is it possible that the vehicle has a factory-installed remote start system that is causing interference? Where should I look for it?

Glad you got it going!! You arent the first person to plug it in there! lol

You can change options on the evo without needing to re program/dcryptor each time, just ensure you click the save options button and not the flash button.

This is normal when new smart keys are programmed to a vehicle.

You will need to re program the unit as well as re run dcryptor.

Please note in order to re run dcryptr the module must have a manufacture date within the last 5 years.

No option 26 is not ndeeded simply turn on option D4.

The ignition cut is for the OEM remote to work once remote started.

It is the vehicles computer not the evo that will decide when the gas engine turns on.

Another thing you could check is what side of the cut you put the lt.blue/black wire. If it is on the wrong side the unit will program however it will start and die since the info does not get sent to the correct module in the car.

As inidcated on page 6 of the installation guide, there is no takeover for this vehicle, option D3 - door open shut down must be set in the evo-one options.

Red flash 5x is the error code for hood open detected.

Turn off A11 in the evo-all options, make sure the hood pin wire from the evo all is not grounded and that the vehicles hood is closed.

I would suggest phoneing into the tech line at this point so an agent can go over it with you. Please be sure to have access too the mdoule, flash link and vehicle when calling.

An agent can also reset your flash limit as well.

For that vehicle you would need a remote starter module of your choosing.

Fortin only offers immobilizer bypass which can be done with a passlock sl2-v2.

These modules due to their age cannot be reset.

001A06849500, 001A06835355, 001A06849469, 001A06782874

This module 001A07162160 should not need any reset however due to its age it may be restricted when trying to flash it at the flash link.

2021 Nissan Frontier - P1612 Immobilzer DTC Code

My EVO-ALL with the NIST4 harness has been great for a few years, but just the other day the vehicle did not start and then set off the alarm due to the failure. My OBD scanner flagged a P1612 DTC CODE related to the ECU & Immobilzer that comes back immediately after clearing. Anyone seen this? I suspect the EVO module somehow lost its key bypass coding, because if I tape up my NISSAN FOB to the key antenna I can get a remote start with my EVO remote since the vehicle has a key active How can the bypass programming get corrupted, and has anyone ever seen this? Strang one.

I cut all the pink wires, but that didn't help. I'll just leave it as is. The CAN-A lines (orange and green wires) were in the left gray connector behind the fuse box. ACC was there too—a green wire. Ignition (pink) and Starter (thin white) were in the right black connector behind the fuse box. EMS (blue-black) was in the kick panel. The start-stop wires were pink-black and green... pins 9 and 10. The wire for the parking lights was brown. CAN-B red and blue at OBD...Thank you

Yes the LinkR-LT2 is compatible. Only difference is it will plug directly into the evo-one module as apposed to plugging into the toy16 t-harness.

Fortin has not tested the Drone products since the DR5400, that was when 0.50 was made.

Evo start 2 antenna code will depend if the previous owner still has it tied to their account or not, if they do you will need to contact them to get the code transfered over to you.

The t-harness would be the thar-one-maz3.

You would also need the flash link updater to flash and configure the evo one.

Remote start from the OEM remote is also supported.

If the vehicle is automatic transmission and the evo-all is installed in stand alone then yes you could add a shock sensor.

Using the flash link updater you would need to enable option G-evo-alarm in the evo options and then the shock sensor input on the evo-all module is the purple/white wire on the 20 pin connector.

Please note if the module has a manufacture date over 5 years enableing option G will not be possible.

The S/N number provided is flashed for a toyota. It has also reached its dcryptor limit, I will submit it for reset, the module will be ready for dcryptor within 24-48 hours.

If you are not able to get the PC to detect the module try flipping the data link cable around or try a 2nd data link cable.
